Follow these steps to connect VERSE e-LIB to your ChatGPT account via MCP and interact with your purchased study materials directly in your chats.

Go to chatgpt.com on your desktop browser. Click your profile icon at bottom-left and select Settings.

In the Settings menu, click on Apps from the sidebar navigation.

REQUIRED

Click Advanced settings at the bottom. Toggle on Developer mode, then go back to the previous screen.

A new Create app button will now appear after enabling Developer mode. Click it to start.

Check the "Custom MCP servers introduce risk" checkbox, then click the Create button.

A login page will open. Enter your email address and click Send OTP.

Check your email inbox for the 6-digit OTP. Enter it into the prompt and click Verify & Connect.

DONE

In a few seconds VERSE e-LIB will connect to ChatGPT. You can now ask anything about your purchased materials!

RECOMMENDED

Go to the VERSE e-LIB app in settings and toggle on "Reference memories and chats" for a personalized experience.

IMPORTANT

Open any chat and click the + (Add) icon in the message bar. Then click More → select VERSE e-LIB from the list.

Now you can ask any question about your study materials directly inside ChatGPT!
